Cafe Fiore - Seattle
Cafe Fiore
Description
Tucked in a charming brick building steps from Golden Gardens, this small Ballard café offers expertly crafted Cafe Vita drinks, friendly, skilled baristas, fresh pastries and kid-friendly options. It's a cozy, laptop-friendly spot with coconut milk and excellent hot chocolate, though limited seating can mean crowds. Service and drink quality vary—guests praise foam and flavor while others report watery or bitter coffee, cleanliness and restroom policies, and no cash accepted. Ideal for beachgoers and remote workers seeking character and quality, but expect occasional inconsistency.

Beautiful café with excellent service. The hot chocolate had a nice hint of spice and was definitely one of the best I've ever tasted. As for kid-friendliness, they offered several adorable drink options for children!
The espresso drinks here are fantastic. Be sure to check out their specialty menu. They also prepare an excellent cortado.
I had one of the worst mochas I've ever tasted here. It was both bitter and lacking in flavor. The coffee shop had a musty smell, reminiscent of an old house, and the tables were sticky and unclean. While the barista was friendly, I definitely won't be returning.
This might be the best latte I've ever tasted. The location is absolutely stunning, and the baristas made me feel completely at home.
Nestled in Ballard, just a short distance from Shilshole, you'll find this charming coffee shop that serves expertly crafted Cafe Vita coffee drinks along with delicious snacks. There's even a pizza stand next door! Fiore is located in a quaint old brick building that I used to pass by as a child when it was a record shop. The place exudes a lot of character. Although it's not very large, making it difficult to find a table at times, it's the perfect spot to spend an hour or two relaxing.
