Today, we took the Amtrak train from Tacoma to Seattle. Our journey was delayed by an hour, causing us to cancel other planned activities. Despite this, we decided to visit 13 Coins Seattle for lunch. It was our first time there, and we were served by a friendly waitress named Sara. The food was good and we enjoyed our experience. What Michael Humphries Dolnick doesn't like about 13 Coins:
I used to eat here all the time when I was a young fast food manager, mainly because it was open 24 hours and had a big menu. That was in the early 1980's. The place has not changed, still the high back chairs and high walls around the booths. And the food is still excellent, I recommend any of their steaks. View all feedback.
Wonderful place to eat and fantastic atmosphere. Tons of history. This place was recommended by a passenger on the train. Didn't make it to dinner, but tried breakfast. Food was delicious and staff was super friendly. Right by the train station, and stadium.
Ate here twice while friends were in town staying at the Hilton and I 'll definitely be coming back. Fantastic quality for the price, really high end flavor! Every dish was fantastic, and huge portions to boot. Avoid the Lower Quarters bar downstairs. Cheap but.. cheap. Don 't let the looks fool you, they are a dive bar by any standard. Stay upstairs and you 'll be well taken care of.
We have often come to this restaurant whether it is for business, family time, before the Seahawks game, breakfast or dinner and the food was always very good the atmosphere is very good it is always very clean the truth is there are no complaints at this place sometimes some waiters are better than others, but generally they give a good service, we will come back and this restaurant is highly recommended. It was a good Thanksgiving breakfast.
That was my first time at Seattle's location, that was at the airport. We stayed at the hotel and came for a drink and a snack. We sat at the counter on a high throne chair. Our server was great. Friendly and attentive. Before us you can see all cooks preparation and laying orders. Everything looked good. It was fun watching her. I ordered Calamari and to drink, Jameson with coke back. He ordered a hot Fudge Sundae. We had a good time and felt very comfortable. Would definitely go back.
We had waited for dinner for over an hour because of personnel problems, but we drank and waited a mixed drink. The Calamari appetizer was light and tasty with a few fried mild Jalapeno slices. I ordered the crab salad and my wife ordered the steak salad. Both were very generous. The crab salad was great. The steak of my wife was not rare, as in fact, it was closer to medium well. We ordered a glass of local wine that was really beautiful.
