It has been between visits for several years. If I had assessed it from a few years ago, the rating would have been higher. This time I was disappointed. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and my wife had a reub. She said the reef was good, but the cheese steak fell short. Actually, it repeated me for the rest of the day and that never happens to me. Great place for a beer and a bite. The cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeño balls were amazing!
On a day trip exploring the area nearby, came here to grab a bite to eat with my wife. Staff treated us well, nice and polite. Food was really good. Reuben sandwich was one of the best I have had since leaving Jersey..in my top 3
Great food, big portions, friendly staff, and moderate prices
Food was delicious, staff was incredibly friendly, and they even did an odd substitution for our side dish without any fuss.
UPDATE JUNE 2023. Had a great experience. The team permitted me to be seated 10 minutes prior to opening I was bicycling in the summer heat and the ac felt great. I ordered their chicken fruit salad. Awesome. See pic. ORIGINAL POST Good pub and comfort food. Getting a bit pricey for the food, and suffering from staff shortages.
