Was DadandCab at Border Meringues a mag?
I had a great toastie and cake in here, there’s a huge selection of great looking cakes. Unfortunately the coffee was awful. I didn’t have the heart to complain as the staff were lovely but my decaf flat white was more like a cappuccino and the coffee flavour was awful. It just can't have been made by a trained barrista. I’d definitely eat here again but maybe with a pot of tea or a hot chocolate. View all feedback.

Good lunch menu with wide range of options, incuding a lovely Border Tart to go with a delicious coffee.
We visited this restaurant two days in a row. The cakes are excellent. I had a delicious fruit meringue with cream on the first visit and a strawberry and cream sponge cake on the second visit, although I could have easily eaten a whole cake! The Cheese and Tomato Quiche is also very tasty. It is definitely worth a visit. The staff are fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place.
