We stopped on our way home from Scotland for dinner, and were greeted by very friendly staff. The meal was delicious and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent stop off for lunch in Jedburgh. Roast beef dinner for the wife and steak, mushroom and ale pie for me. Freshly cooked veg and the crispness chips I have had for a long time that soaked up the lovely thick gravy. Friendly staff and nice pint as well

I have eaten at this restaurant every time I have been in the area, and I have always been very satisfied with the quality of food and service. However, on my second visit during this trip to The Borders, I was quite disappointed with the breaded Eyemouth haddock that I ordered. I had inquired before ordering if it would be the same fish as the battered version, and was assured that it would be. However, when it was served, it was significantly thinner and smaller in size compared to the battered version, and it was very dry. Despite this disappointing experience, I would still come back as everything else I have tried has been excellent, but I wouldn't recommend that particular dish.

We popped in for an early tea while driving south. Staff were very friendly and the food was great, prices very good too. Will hopefully return for lunch with the family one weekend.
