Chips weren't the best and chicken pakora was dry! No better than the bad chippies in gala or melrose.
Best fish and chips I've tasted for a long time great service
Just been to Alonso's for the first time and it was awesome. Great big piece of fish with chips and smokey. There was so much fabulous food to choose from and staff were great. if you haven't been take a night off cooking and treat yourselves it was delicious. Friday nights the diet is going to be well and truly forgotten about..

The kebab was mediocre, I didn't like the chilli sauce much but that could just be my preference. I wouldn't order it again. When I returned and tried the spicy haggis, it was still almost frozen in the middle. I was disappointed with the entire experience.
