He is running a business but treats... read more I'm not one to read a review let alone even write a review but my god was this the most ignorant man I ever met in my life. He is running a business but treats his customers like dogs. I'm not in the boating community I was only passing trade with my family, I was friendly with him but he treated me like a pig, when I called him up on his manners (after I got my average food) he just shrugged. Would never darken the door again and would highly advise to stay away. Manners maketh the man, it costs no time, money nor effort. And if he charges €50 for a burger and fish and chips with scallops then he may find himself looking for work elsewhere someday. Stay away,I had to relog into an old account just to have this say!!!

But in this day and age it is ridiculous that they only take cash , so I had to go back up to the ATM on the Main Street!!!!!!!!!! Not doing themselves any favours….

The French owner takes a straightforward approach to his dishes, reflected throughout the menu. I highly recommend dining at L'escale.
