Was Anonym at Grove House a mag?
The house itself is beautiful and the lighting was lovely and atmospheric. We had a lovely table and the candle light was a lovely touch. Many of the items we looked to order were gone, despite it being a 7.30pm booking. The goats cheese bruschetta starter was gorgeous and the mackerel was excellent. What Moses Larkin dislikes about Grove House:
We are regular visitors to Schull and have often walked past Grove House, but had never stopped in. Last week, a sign in the Schull bookshop caught our eye offering coffee and cake for €6 at Grove House. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try. Food was lovely, albeit we didn't benefit from the ambience of the house as we were in a marquee in the front, it was lovely and we will be back for sure.

6 of us ate at Grove House last week and it was better than ever. Because of Covid19 we had the dining room to ourselves which made it all the more special. The food, service, atmosphere and location was top class.

Having stayed in Grove House many years ago and had a fabulous experience, it was wonderful to revisit for dinner. The meal was excellent and the service and welcome exceptional. I won't leave it as long to revisit.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the pork stuffed with black pudding, there wasn't a lot of pork meat, it seemed to have shrunk considerably during cooking. The affogato for dessert was delicious and the selection of wines is really good! Rachel was very attentive and welcoming in the dining room.
