We went out for dinner on Valentine's Day. We were the second couple to arrive and were greeted awkwardly by the staff. They let us choose our own table, which was nice. It took a while for them to give us menus. When my wife asked if the sangria was white or red, she was told white, but it was actually red. The server, Seth, didn't come back to clarify and just brought it out. Seth took a long time to check on us at first, but we eventually placed our order and enjoyed the live music from a guitarist. However, he only played two songs and then took a break without returning. The restaurant had to use Google to play music for the rest of the 90 minutes we were there. The biggest issue was that there was a dog in the restaurant, which we could hear barking from the kitchen. The food was surprisingly good, but the portion sizes were just okay. For dessert, I ordered the strawberry and banana with white cream, but Seth brought out mixed berries instead. Overall, it was not a great experience and my wife won't trust me to make dinner reservations again.
Our reservation through Open Table was for 1:30pm, but the restaurant had it listed as 1:00pm. This actually worked out well since we arrived early and the restaurant was closing at 2:00pm that day. However, we had to wait a long time to be seated and once we were, there was a delay in getting water and cutlery as the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. We were surprised to find out that the restaurant only offered a buffet, as we had selected it based on the menu we saw on Open Table. The menu items we had anticipated were in the $10-$15 range, but the buffet ended up costing $25 per person. With a group of 8, our bill ended up being much higher than we had anticipated. Despite these issues, the food was actually delicious!
