The food is outstanding and they have daily specials that actually change daily so make sure not to miss out if you see something good. The food is unique for an ice cream spot; the chicken wings are legitimately good, I got apple pie pot stickers that were heavenly, the curly fries are among the best I've ever had. And then we get to the ice cream, I love how the apple ice cream has actual apples in it, same with the blueberry with actual blueberries. If you're feeling up to it, get yourself a monster milkshake, it's like a 32oz beast. Everyone working is very friendly, it's always spotless when I go in. Fantastic food and ice cream joint.
This is the ideal small town dinner that everyone hopes for when they walk in. You'll usually see some older guys hamming it up, talking about the day to day stuff or reading the paper. Construction guys stopping in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. There are times I'll make the 30 minute round trip just to get breakfast from here. My favorite is the Ham, egg, and cheese on a bagel, with a side of corn beef hash (crisped! . I'll also recommend the malted milkshakes. Pretty much everything here is good and worth the trip. Can't say enough good things about this place.
This place is a gem. We went here when the line at Jumpin Jacks was winding through the parking lot. The food here was reasonably priced. We got a deluxe cheeseburger (delicious), a fish fry platter (husband LOVED it), and chicken fingers. The platter came with an entire bowl of coleslaw, which was a pleasant surprise. After dinner we got a push pop, small cone and medium cone. All in all we spent less than $40 for 3 people to have dinner and dessert. We will be going here lots over the summer. There was plenty of seating inside. A line did form after we sat down, but it wasn't out the door. The staff was super friendly. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.
