Feedback
A recent visit to Vic's On The River presented a mix of experiences for customers. Some enjoyed the delicious food, with highlights such as the Peach Trio dessert, aromatic shrimp toast, and flavorful shrimp lo mein. Others, however, found the food to be pedestrian and lacking in flavor, such as the bland pasta and ketchup-based meatloaf. Service was also hit-or-miss, with some customers feeling ignored while others praised their waitress for managing to keep all the flavors intact in their dishes. The atmosphere received mixed reviews, with some finding the noise excessive and others finding it relaxing. Overall, the restaurant seemed to have potential, but inconsistencies in food quality, service, and atmosphere left some customers unsure if they would return.
Very good food. Portions were adequate with price. You need to be patient with meal delivery. Seating wasn't ideal as we were placed next to kitchen door.
We chose to eat here based on reviews and rating on Google. Arriving earlier than our reservation time, we enjoyed our cocktails on the outside terrace. After being seated inside, it took 1 hour between ordering and getting our food which was served lukewarm. It was a very loud and noisy atmosphere. Very average at best!
Excellent service and food. Everything was delicious!
Our best server on this entire trip of 10 days. Thank you so much
The food and service were excellent except for the young female hostess. We came from out of town and made a reservation several days beforehand. When we requested a table by the window, the hostess said “those were for people with reservations.” I explained we had reservations. She said those were taken. (When we left the restaurant, there were still several window seats available. She came off as haughty and condescending and made us feel unwelcome. The couple next to us left without dining because they too were refused a window seat. We almost left too! She was extremely arrogant. But we were hungry and our server was lovely! The food was delicious and we ended up enjoying the meal. However, the rude young female hostess is really off-putting and condescending. We almost left too. She needs a major attitude adjustment.
