Some enjoyed the delicious food, with highlights such as the Peach Trio dessert, aromatic shrimp toast, and flavorful shrimp lo mein. Others, however, found the food to be pedestrian and lacking in flavor, such as the bland pasta and ketchup-based meatloaf. Service was also hit-or-miss, with some customers feeling ignored while others praised their waitress for managing to keep all the flavors intact in their dishes. The atmosphere received mixed reviews, with some finding the noise excessive and others finding it relaxing. Overall, the restaurant seemed to have potential, but inconsistencies in food quality, service, and atmosphere left some customers unsure if they would return.
We waited for a balcony while our table was sanitary and watched the sunset. The atmosphere was beautiful and the interior was warm and intimate. We loved everything we ordered and felt that the value was phenomenal. Our waitress, Tanisha I think was phenomenal and really friendly! You also have private selected bourbons and cocktails that you can't find anywhere. Definitely a victory!
A stylish restaurant overlooking the river Savannah. You get to watch the flow traffic while on free tary cookies. Everything I tried on the menu is great. The Oysters Rockefeller and Fried Green Tomatoes are amazing. Last time I looked the meat and swear that Mini-Laf was a pound and half meat! The BBQ sauce has a smoky bang and paired amazingly with it. Definitely sharing a plate or you have enough to take home for another meal. Definitely worth a visit!
We had the best brunch ever! Outside under the oaks was pleasing. The service was great! I am very impressed by the variety and uniqueness of the menu. Affordable white table cloth service best! Okay, we left again, but this time in the evening. We are out on the terrace under Twinkle lights in the cool autumn crisp air and it was lovely! The food was impeccable as usual.
Reservations were needed and there is a dress code. You can't go wrong with a four-headed meal and live singing. It was my first time with a 4-course menu and I was amazed to say the least. A wide selection for all other courses than the salad that consisted only of one option. Our waiter was fast, consistent and quite frankly amazing. I suggest that the braided beef is served with cheese grains and their pork chop on mashed potatoes. If you prefer seafood, I suggest going with spicy shrimps and their crabcakes. A wide selection of wines, beer and liqueurs to combine it with your meals if you prefer it, but I personally went with a coke gravine. The live music that clinks are made of drinks, the chatter among people lets you smile nonstop, just increase your experience. The portions were PERFECTLY size, making you space for the next course. As for Dessert, I suggest her chocolate mousse. It is a rich, soft and creamy dark chocolate, with a raspberry (can be pomegranate? drizzle. A perfect Umami combination of rich, savory, sweet and tart flavor to finish the night. If you want to feel expensive and extravagant, sit on your best outfit and go to Vic's.
Our experience here was fantastic, with the Halibut (catch of the day) and the Filet both being delicious. Danielle was our server, and she was attentive, professional, and very polite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Entering from River street, walking through the coffee shop, and then up an elevator to the restaurant was a memorable experience, and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Savannah.
