Was Faith Kelly at Flock To The Wok a mag?
This is the best Asian restaurant in town! My husband loves the Mongolian beef and General Tso's chicken; both dishes are packed with flavor and delicious. If you're up for it, I recommend trying them spicy for an extra kick. Personally, I really enjoy their Lo Mein, which is loaded with vegetables and bursting with flavor. Don’t forget to sample the White Hummingbird too! After your meal, head downstairs to the Peac... View all feedback.
What Bruce Holmes dislikes about Flock To The Wok:
I do not recommend this restaurant. I had a reservation for today, and when we arrived, we were informed that they don't accept reservations on weekends. This is completely absurd, especially since I made the reservation and even received a reminder from them. We were on a tight schedule, and had we known they don't honor reservations, we would have chosen a different place. View all feedback.

I had the tofu in a sweet brown sauce paired with white rice. I would definitely return!
I got the veggie spring rolls my server verified that they were vegan and followed the suggestion of the other reviewer and got the drunk noodles with tofu. the spring rolls were good. the drunk noodles had great taste, but the noodles were all hanging together. I also wish it could be nice, but I was told it was extra for this. overall it was a good meal, but nothing spectacular.
I actually work for this restaurant, and have realized that a lot of veg people eat there thinking what they’re ordering is vegan, but it isn’t. Here’s a list of everything vegan that you can order. Vegan as is cucumber salad Shishito peppers edamame gyoza veggie dumplings My recommendations drunken noodles with veggie or tofu, remove egg If you get tofu, specify to fry it without egg spicy pepper salt calamari, sub calamari with fried tofu again, specify fry without egg veggie fried rice, remove egg, add tofu fried without egg If you want to try one of the other entrees and substitute tofu or veggies, just make sure to specify tofu fried without egg, and no oyster sauce. These menu items are not vegan either due to egg or oyster sauce shiitake mushroom and tofu dumplings braised spicy tofu home style tofu You can order the tofu dishes without oyster sauce. Hope this helps! Margot
It’s important to ask about the dishes, as many contain fish or shrimp. The home-style tofu is decent, as is the braid dish. Wait, what?
We ordered the Pad Thai without an egg, but only after we had eaten some did we realize that it contained egg. It seems they were not very careful with our order and did not double-check to ensure they followed our instructions.
Nestled in a cozy corner, Flock to the Wok presents a mixed culinary experience that excites and disappoints in equal measure. While the Pan-Seared Pork Dumplings and spicy Mongolian Beef resonate with flavor, some dishes, like the pork belly entrée, miss the mark. Service receives praise, yet attention to special requests, such as dietary restrictions, falls short. Guests rave about the artistic presentation of dishes and the inviting atmosphere, complemented by large portions that promise value. Overall, Flock to the Wok beckons food lovers, but expectations should be tempered for a truly satisfying meal.

There are many vegetarian options here, but the aroma of food does not meet. The saving grace had a beautiful experience with the staff!
Had a great experience. Our waiter was very familiar with the vegan options and made great recommendations. Warm and fast! Would definitely go back.
Make sure you ask. Many things contain fish or pig or chicken. Home-style tofu is okay. Same with braid. EXPENSIVE. Great mood.
We ordered Pat Thai without egg. Only after we had eaten a bit of it, we realized they were stuck in the egg. So be very careful when ordering and double check they followed your instructions.
Had tofu with vegetables in a brown sauce with white rice. Would definitely go back.

The mini pork dumplings were good, but my pork belly entrée wasn 't anything special. Upon noticing that there were white button mushrooms in my entrée instead of the advertised shiitake mushrooms, I mentioned this to the waiter. Instead of admitting that they were out of shiitake and had to substitute them with something cheaper, he said these are the ones we use. I don 't think that 's the case. I think the restaurant is overrated. It 's unfortunate that in my short time in Savannah I ate there for one of my meals. I was so hungry that I still ate my whole entrée, but it was not worth it for the price.
We had a fantastic experience! The location can be a bit tricky to find, but once you figure it out, it's manageable. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the portions are quite large—one plate can easily serve two people. It would be great if they encouraged guests to share!
I was really disappointed with my experience. The dumplings were okay; I tried the shrimp and pork dumplings (both steamed and fried), and they were decent. However, the spicy fried pork chop was dry and overcooked. The garlic chicken was still cold, which made it clear they must have cooked it the night before and just reheated it for the stir fry. The other two meat dishes—the pork with cabbage and the beef with fried onions—were also lacking in flavor and tenderness, and they weren’t served hot. I'm surprised by the positive reviews for this restaurant; I've had better Chinese food at the mall food court.
Cool location. Good Asian food, not worth going downtown for though. Can get similar in much less crowded surroundings.
Consistently amazing!!! My favorite restaurant in Savannah!

Stopped by the Wok for lunch and they didn't disappoint. Food was delicious. Service was great. Our server Julia was great at answering questions and recommending dishes. It's amazing when food is prepared to order.
Vibey little spot with great dumplings and food! Our server recommended the edamame gyoza and it was great! Wonton soup and soup dumplings were also incredible. Spring rolls were spring rolls. The other dishes were great and tasty.
This was the best Asian food I've had. We started with mini spicy pork dumplings, then general tso chicken and drunken noodles with chicken. The chicken was amazing in both dishes. Flavors were on point with everything! It was pretty warm in there but other than that it was an excellent experience. Pedro and Ivy provided great service too.
We called last minute trying to accommodate allergies in our girl scout troop, our original plan could not accommodate us,while visiting from Chicago. They were amazing seated all 19 of us, and were amazing. Highly recommend them, they were patient with all the girls, and the food was so good. With all those girls, not one complaint and they ate everything!Kid-friendliness: We brought 11 exhausted girlscouts in and they were kind, patient and helpful.Dietary restrictions: We had dairy allergies and a wheat allergy in our group and they were amazing. No issues and super helpful.
I had high hopes for this place since a lot of people recommended it. The siomai was good the calamari was not good since it was lukewarm. Taste was okay. The prices were good. I guess you get what you pay for. I still give it 3 stars since the service was excellent.

My husband and I absolutely loved this restaurant! We arrived just in time for lunch, which was fortunate since seating is quite limited. Every dish we tried was delicious. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and we enjoyed all the sauces that accompanied each meal. I would recommend this place to everyone! The service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless.
The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! The calamari was the best I've ever tasted, and everything else was fantastic as well. The coconut shrimp not only looked like a work of art, but they were also enormous! This is definitely a fantastic place to dine.
The reviews for Flock to the Wok speak highly of a wonderful dining experience in a cozy setting. Everything operates like a well-oiled machine, delivering delicious Chinese dishes that are visually appealing. We ordered Pan-Seared Pork Dumplings, General Tso's Chicken, and Szechuan Beef. Every bite was delightful, and we can't wait to return for another great lunch!
I dived into the wok with just 20 minutes for lunch to Flock before I had to switch to a job call. Once I got in, Colt was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The restaurant atmosphere alone is such a highlight. When I said I would never eat here and that I was short on time, he asked if I liked chicken and said he had only the dish for me: Sesame Chicken. I am not exaggerated when I say today's Sesame Chicken lunch special was the best Sesame Chicken I ever had! The spices were perfect. And it came out in record time. I wouldn't have asked for a better experience today. Thanks to Colt, and thank you to the entire team from Flock to the Wok to make my day with your delicious food and excellent customer experience!
Took a road trip through Savannah and read that this place was highly rated. We went for dinner and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere. Tables were maybe a bit close together, but it was easy to talk with others in your group without having to scream across the table. Our server was friendly and speed of service was a 10/10. The shiitake and tofu dumplings were nice, but maybe lacked a bit of flavor. The sesame chicken with fried rice was excellent. The sauce was loaded with flavor and the chicken was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The beef Shanghai noodles were packed with flavor and the perfect amount of seasoning. Serving size was the perfect amount for a hearty dinner. Would absolutely make a return trip next time we are in town.

As for the food, it was just alright. It certainly surpassed typical Chinese takeout, but it didn't blow me away. I was particularly eager to try the pork and cabbage dish, as it reminded me of something I often enjoyed while living in China, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. It was excessively sweet, almost as if the chef had miscalculated the sauce ingredients. While we were leaving, we noticed water dripping on us and looked up to find that the...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant! We arrived just before the lunch rush, which was fortunate because the seating is quite limited. Every dish we ordered was delicious, with the vegetables tasting exceptionally fresh. We also loved all the sauces that accompanied each meal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! The service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean.
As far as the food goes, it 's okay. Better than generic Chinese takeout, but nothing spectacular. I was really excited to see a pork and cabbage dish on the menu, as it was a dish I commonly ate when I lived in China, but sadly it wasn 't very good. It wasreally, really sweet for some reason, to the point that I think the cook may have made a mistake with the saucemeasurements. As we were leaving, we noticed water started dripping on us and we looked up to see that the ceiling, where thea/c was installed, was dripping and absolutely covered in mold. Like, really really moldly. Our waitress said oh yeah I thinkthere 's a problem with our a/c but sort of brushed it off. Yeah, there 's been a problem for months, maybe even years, given howmuch mold was growing. It was pretty crazy to me that they had neglected to fix the issue, or *at least* stopped seating peopleat that table. Getting dripped with moldly a/c water wasn 't the best end to our dinner. Overall, I 'd probably consider gettingthis for takeout again if I was in the area, but I wouldn 't eat inside again. And the food wasn 't very notable overall.
Came here for a dinner for two and ordered spring rolls, pan seared pork dumplings, pork crab soup dumplings, and two drinks. The food was very tasty and we both loved the atmosphere. The wait staff kept a good eye on us and made sure to check inregularly. 5/5 and I recommend to anyone visiting the area!
