The fish and chips w... read more Outstanding customer service! This charming little restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel where we are staying (The Desoto). The fish and chips were delicious, and the cheese plate was quite impressive, especially when paired with strawberry puree (don’t dismiss it until you’ve tasted it). The iced tea was excellent, too! Plus, there was wonderful live music to enjoy.

We enjoyed some cocktails and opted for a few appetizers since we weren’t quite hungry enough for main courses. The roasted Brussels sprouts were fantastic—crispy and topped with a delicious sweet tomato compote and goat cheese. We also tried the barbecue chicken flatbread, which was really good as well.

The bartender had low energy and there was limited flexibility for customizing dishes beyond the menu. Overall, the experience was just average at best. Service rating: 3/5.

Corn on the cob: could have been hotter in temperature but the flavor combo of th cotija cheese and parmasean was very complimentary and just plain good Hot brown: if ya never hadone this is a very good riff on the traditional out of Louisville Fried chicken over Mac and cheese...definitely the highlight.Chicken was cooked perfectly and the butter was made with care Drinks: Edgar's cup was a awesomely conceived and executedcocktail. Earl grey is always a great and surprising flavor in cocktails Desserts....go elsewhere....the peach pie lacked anykind of flavor and it was served COLD like right out of the fridge. Other guests next to us felt the exact same way....it was alower not a winner. The cinnamon roll bread pudding was microwaved awful mess. The microwave did its thing to bread as only 15yo would know. And to top ot off (pardon the pun) the Caramel sauce was burnt. Nothing worse than the flavor of burntbutter. Waitress was lovely and attentive.

We were early so we could choose where we wanted to sit on the patio overlooking beautiful Liberty Street. We enjoyed some cocktails and had a couple of appetizers because we weren'thungry enough to eat entrees. We had the roasted brussel sprouts which was amazing they were crispy and had a tomato sweetcompote and goat cheese on it, it was amazing. We had a barbecue chicken flatbread also which was bursting with flavor, thin andcrispy. I recommend going here especially to sit outside and look at the famous Liberty Street. And in the evenings they have alive guitarist which was very pleasant.
