Saunton Sands Main

We (2 couples were booked to stay four days at an apartment close to the Saunton Sands Hotel but when we arrived at 5.00pm we discovered that it was double booked. I walked to the hotel to see if we could get a room for the night to save the situation. They were very helpful accommodating and said that while they did not have two rooms available for 4 nights they confident that that they could make it work if we were happy to change rooms. We have really enjoyed our stay here. The staff have been so helpful and engaging. (Many have worked there for 10 to 20 years The food was delicious and the Art Deco style of the dining room was fantastic. There were numerous families staying and were enjoying themselves. We will stay again. Rooms we gave four stars only because the hotel is 90 years old.

We were kindly upgraded to a wonderful sea view room which had become available. The team are dedicated really helpful and coordinated. Shuttle for us to Croyde and back. The spa was such a treat and the view from the thermal pool was sublime. What a wonderful weekend thank you! Big shout out to Kevin, Aiden and Paul

Stayed 5 nights in August, self catering. Family of 4 and a dog. Our 6th visit and 2nd this year. Its perfect for us. The hotel, the location, the standard of hotel and services on offer. Holiday activities were great for the kids, indoor and outdoor pools, surf lessons, walks to croyde....it all works for us. And thanks to Paul who looks out for us.....
