Visited Muio's during a cross country road trip. Read the TripAdvisor reviews before deciding on dinner. The restaurant is in downtown Soo. What Rubie Schuppe doesn't like about Muio's:
The restaurant will always have a sense of nostalgia to it. The service was excellent, the waitress was wonderful. The food, however, wasn't the greatest. A few of the ladies had Caesar salads and the salad was seriously lacking in dressing. Our guest ordered 1/4 chicken and there was definitely not that much meat on his plate. We were in a rush and didn't have time to send our meals back. View all feedback.
We had Sally for our waitress, I think she has been there since day one. What a wonderful lady!Between the five of us (3 adults and 2 children) we had pancakes, back bacon, eggs, sausages and home fries. Pancakes were light and fluffy, back bacon was marvellous and the rest of the meals were very good. This restaurant has been here what seems to be forever and is a great place for a meal with very reasonable prices. Will be back!
If I am in the Soo, I will always go to this place for dinner. The restaurant is clean, they offer quick service and the food is always tasty and fresh. They have been around a long time so they are used to being busy, I went on a Friday night the place was packed. I would recommend the gnocchi and chicken it goes well together and the portion/value is spot on. You leave satisfied and not overcharged. Have eaten here the last 3 times I was in the Soo and look forward to my next visit.
We showed up very close to closing and they let us in, we were the only group in there. Food was great! I had fish, it was very tasty. They are renowned for their chicken which was also very good. Prices were reasonable.
We had planned to eat on the US side before crossing into Canada, but we weren’t hungry yet. It is hard to find a place to eat in Canada! Canadians need to do a better job with Trip Advisor! But we found Muio’s and went in for supper. It has been around a long time and has an interesting history. There is a timeline of sorts painted on the outside of the building. There are pictures on the walls inside. The place was packed with families, couples, singles, young, old, and all enjoying themselves. We had a great waitress, and we all enjoyed our meals. My son ordered the burger and fries and both were very good, particularly the fries, my husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs and thought it was good and wondered if the noodles were made there, I had the Lake Superior trout and it came with a salad, bread, gold potatoes and peas. I enjoyed every bite. It’s nothing fancy inside which is part of its charm. We would recommend Muio’s to anyone looking for a good meal.

Service was exceptional.
