The st... read more This restaurant is a vegan paradise! The meals are beautifully prepared and presented, making them just as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The ambiance is relaxed, and the decor is tasteful. I was in Saskatoon for two days and ended up eating here both nights. Don't miss out on this fantastic experience! Thank you, Yay Thai, for showcasing vegan dishes in such an exquisite way. I just wish I didn't live almost 2500 miles away!

I was visiting Saskatoon for the New Year, and my boyfriend wanted to show me this place. We both shared some of them chik'n drumsticks (not real chicken and then we both had the curry with waffles... Just a heads up because they are rice waffles they take about 20 minutes to make! So if your in a time crunch sub just rice with it! The owner came out and explained this to us as we both were a bit confused why it was taking so long. The owner is a lovely human and really took care of us! So thank you Yay Thai for the amazing food, and wonderful service!

Ice tea was not sealed properly and so it spilled. Basil Pork Belly had about 2 pcs of basil that tasted like 1 cup of soy sauce was poured, so salty! Asked for utensils and all they have provided was a straw for a spilled iced tea. Totally unimpressed.

Then we had to get back up to collect disposable cutlery/water ourselves. Lots of waste involved. As a conscious consumer I was shocked that when we dined in, everything was in single use containers. For vegan food the lack of vegetables was sort of strange- tons of fake meat options if that’s your thing. I think for nearly $40/two people we do better elsewhere. We really wanted to be fans of this place. It has such lovely decor and a cute brand/concept but too much missed the mark for us.
