Mount Royal - Saskatoon

This is a cozy restaurant with a small-town atmosphere. They offer both Chinese and Canadian dishes. I ordered the chicken lō mein, which was delicious and affordable. One of my companions had the veal cutlet, which was decent and straightforward. My other companion tried the beef chow mein and appeared to enjoy it. It's a great spot if you're looking for something unpretentious and want to relax with some older folks. *CASH ONLY*

This place feels just like a cozy small-town café. The food is delicious, and the waitress always greets you with a warm welcome. We've visited several times and have never had a bad meal. It's wonderful to have such a great restaurant in our community!

RETURNED OFTEN. Well, as another person said, CASH only at this place and it is fairly small with maybe 15 or so tables, BUT, I was told about it and the portion sizes so I tried and have returned often while I am in town. The dollar per quantity amount is awesome as quite often even I go away full for about $10.00. My preference is the Shrimp LoMein rather than the Chow Mein we all are more familiar with. The service can be a bit slow as basically one young lady trying to look after all the customers, but rarely is there much of a delay in getting Your meal. Parking is good and even room on the street for my semi and having been there a few times, I walk in after doing laundry next door and the server lady remembers me and my order without any mixups. Great Breakfasts Canadian food) and excellent Chinese for either dine in or take out. Give it a try and quite sure You will be pleasantly surprized.

This place offers reliable soup and sandwiches! The service is quick, and it has a cozy atmosphere! They also serve delicious chow mein and lo mein! Just a heads up, they're closed on Mondays!

Darn Good Food. It sure ain 't fancy...It ain 't Mel 's......but it 's darn close......and maybe better(they do Asian too!! MRR is a 'Diner ' in a strip mall. Great comfort food (And HEAPING plates of Canadian 'Chinese ' food for a hell of a price.
