I have eaten here many times as I work close by. The food is almost always very good but the service is not consistent. There is one lady (I assume possibly the owner or manager) who is often openly very rude and demanding to her employees in front of customers. She also isn't the happiest person to her customers. A smile and a polite "thank you, have a nice day" can go a long way.
I always eat at La Prep during my regular business trip to Saskatoon. The food is always fresh. The soup is always well seasoned and varying in feature.Service is quick and cashiers are efficient. If you are short on time or if you have time to linger, its a great place to cater to all.
I stopped at La Prep for a sandwich at noon. Ordered the chicken and avocado wrap with Mediterranean salad and beet salad as the sides, for under $10.00. My first bite was into the beet salad - OMG - it tasted like my grandma's Ukrainian Borsht! Absolutely delightful! The wrap was very tasty, as was the fresh Mediterranean salad. The service was fast and the staff were pleasant. The restaurant has plenty of seating and it is very clean and definitely a great change from the ho, hum of the other sandwich store around the corner! I will be back!
I don’t visit here often while I’m at work but when I do, I always receive a good customer service. Very innovative recipes and I notice it changes and that’s a good thing. My favourite are the salted caramel cookies and ya I usually get a butter chicken or rainbow salad.
