For just €51 for a small single room I got: a rustic hotel ambience, atmospherically lit in the evenings a great view of the Rhine Valley and across to France a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. From scrambled eggs to salmon to pineapple pieces. For this price (and to be honest, otherwise) I'm really impressed.

Nearby you can see waterfalls and go hiking, mountain biking, etc. Noteworthy details: There is also a small chapel above the hotel. Very nice. I've eate... read more A beautifully situated hotel with a restaurant. A lot of renovations have taken place in recent years. The restaurant and outdoor areas are beautiful. I've eaten there several times, and it was always good. The Black Forest gateau was enormous. This was my first time staying at the hotel. I was in the old building, but still had a lovely room with a view of the valley. I do have one small criticism. The room was very noisy. You could clearly hear the TV in the next room. But that's just nitpicking.
