My wife and I had a really good dinng experience eating was traditional in many respects (German eating is sometimes hard,) but this time it was with a very precise preparation and a certain lightness. with the very local alder God...white wine that accompanied the meal, it felt right, and after three curses we left the restaurant very satisfied. At the same time, it should be mentioned that the women who serve us were efficient and very friendly. we felt very welcome and enjoyed being there.

We found the restaurant more or less random and had the best luncl on our trip. we visited the place in the early afternoon and had the cooking menu: foie gras, thunfisch sashimi, big desert among others. the service was friendly and the price. very sufficient.

Beautiful place in the small town (filled with good restaurants) this is newly renovated. small lunch card but very good, eating service and excellent eating.

The owner of “Engel”, herbert decker, is a careful and excellent old school host. a true heart, each centimeter as exquisite as this local device. they will not be disappointed. black forest gas love best!

This restaurant is a great favourite in one of the most beautiful villages in the Black Forest. Excellent foie gras, great fish and meat fishes, wonderful cakes and extremely good service. Immaculate in every way.
