Have had lunch here a couple times, can recommend the BBQ burger and the warm potato salad. Burger is a good size, very tasty. Potato salad is good, skins are left on potatoes, very creamy with lots of real bacon. Good, fast service, but it has never been busy when we've gone, so don't know what service is like when it gets busy. View all feedback.

We stopped in on our way back home to the USA after a trip to Niagara falls. We were looking for a good BBQ place to eat at and found Bain's. It was disappointing. The service was extremely slow. There was only one waitress working and 6-7 booths of customers. The BBQ itself was so thinly sliced and the sauce really didn't have much flavor. The presentation was great though! Maybe it's just new and they will get it together soon.
My brisket was a rubber tire... I don't have the picture of it anymore but I assume that's why they took the review down... out of sheer embarrassment. It was quite literally a horrid greyish green colour, with that hint of a rainbow hue like it's been off a week :/ they wanted to go and carve me off another portion, and when I asked if it would be from the same brisket they said yes and tried telling me that's what brisket is supposed to look like... lmao yeah okay. I declined another attempt. The "warm potato salad" they insisted was going to be delicious tasted like it had soured coleslaw runoff in it...it was absolutely revolting. The only thing edible were my sweet potato fries and honestly that would have been just plain shameful to have messed up. Anyone should I hope be able to use a fryer. I wondered why the parking lot was empty at 5:30pm... don't have to wonder now. They took the brisket off the bill but still charged me for the mess of warm potato salad and the fries. The fries fine... but I didn't touch my potato salad after the first regretful bite. My husbands steak was a chewy mound of overcooked meat. But he did like his potato chips. He too found the warm potato salad to be off and didn't eat his. One of the worst experiences that either of us have had in years, as after telling the waitress of the issue she became cold and rude.
This was a nice find for lunch in East Sarnia. I had the Brisket sandwich which was excellent, if a bit sloppy. They offer it with cheese and bacon but it doesn't need it.The side onion rings were also good and the server was friendly. I will be back for dinner soon.
