Description

Visitors to AG Dockside restaurant on the water had mixed reviews. Some were disappointed by unchanged menus and overcooked dishes, while others praised attentive service and delicious meals. Many enjoyed the fantastic waterfront views, but some noted high prices for average food. One guest called it their all-time favorite breakfast spot, while another enjoyed the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant's prime location and friendly service seem to be the main draws, with some hoping for menu updates and improvements in noise levels and seating arrangements.

There's no bad table at this seasonal restaurant. Unobstructed view of the marina from any table you sit at. Menu offers wings, quesadillas, regular restaurant fare and some Mexican choices. Lovely place to go with friends and have a glass of vino to boot.

I have had excellent breakfasts and lunches at this establishment. However, recently was the first time I was there for supper. My meat loaf was delicious - and unique, which I very much liked. The waitress was excellent and I was able to substitute a salad for the fries. There was plenty of food and I was pleased. However, my fellow diner had ordered the appetizer salmon, priced at $17. That was such a disappointment. It didn't come as a filet but as if it had been emptied from a can - little pieces around the very small plate. It had a dill taste over the entire dish. It was miniscule which is in keeping with an appetizer - but how could management justify such overpricing. I ended up sharing some of my meatloaf so that we both could enjoy our meal. Yes, watch out - customers do catch on, and do spread the word. Regarding the setup - it seems there is no ideal place to eat. The deck has been bothered with bees; the middle room has a bar which prohibits any water view, and the windows are opened which is airy, but also then allows in the bees; the front room is air conditioned and has a view but loud kitchen noise. I would have thought by now someone would have figured out a more pleasant and user-friendly configuration. This place is popular because it's on the water, and at this point has no competition in that. Overall, due to my very good meal, I will give it a 3, but that is a stretch, considering the other factors. Maybe next year will see some positive changes. Again, our server made our night a very good one - a young girl, not sure of her name - she was friendly and attentive.

The location and view of the marina were fantastic, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. My wife ordered the lamb shank, and I opted for the snow crabs. The lamb was...
