On our getaway to Lake Toxaway , we were caught off guard to find that a favorite restaurant that we expected to dine at, had unexpectedly closed for the season( their website gave no mention of this and even listed days hours of operation-Osteria del Monte). Frantically we searched for a nice place to eat. Checking Yelp, I saw that Table 64 had 4 1 2 stars. Rather than wasting time looking at menu, hours etc, I called. They were open and serving dinner! I told the Ashley(our waitress that night and the one that answered the phone) our problem and she gave us directions and off we went. What a find! Everything was wonderful. Nice cozy place with a guitarist quietly playing and superb food. The service by Ashley was top notch. Being unfamiliar with tapas dining, she guided us through our selections and made recommendations as to the order of our dishes. We can't say enough about this restaurant. We so enjoyed our experience, that we returned the following night! Terrific experience again! Our only regret about Table 64 is that it's not closer to our home!
