It was a very busy Sunday evening. We are here for work from out of town. We were told they were short staffed with a smile and treated with kindness. We were led to the Bar area(after asking). We placed a to go order and told the bartender ?we willbe back, if our food is not ready; we will order a drink and wait for our food?. When we arrived back to a VERY BUSY restaurant. We sat back at the bar (only 2 seats left). The bartender took one look at us and said. Let me check on your food, then gaveus an update and offered drinks. We ordered. The Peach Sangria was wonderful. The food was amazing back at The Brook TroutInn in our room (we have our dog with us). For a short staffed very busy restaurant everyone was amazing with a smile.
We had a delicious meal here. I had the best wedge salad I've ever had. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was disengaged. He would not look at the person speaking, leaving you to believe he was not listening. It was quite odd. I had to go get himwhen we needed something. The large back covered patio area is nice and we enjoyed the open air.
On vacation for first time in this area. Glad we found Mica's. The trout was delicious, loved their onion strings and the sweet potato fries were awesome. Only in area for a week but went back for second time and glad we did. Had appetizers, pot stickers, bang shrimp and those crispy onion strings again and ended with the triple chocolate cake (hey we were on vacation). Service wasgood as well.
Food Very Good, Table Service Very Good, But the Greeting was not welcoming and can be improved. We had a good dinner there. The food was very good. I had the Onion Soup, which was good, but not great (A little salty), My trout entree and mygirlfriend's grilled pork chop dinner were excellent. The house salad was also excellent with nice fresh ingredients. I triedcalling several times during the day to see if reservations were advisable and no one answered the phone. They offer pick-up,but how can one place an order when no one answers the phone? Also, the hostess was not friendly and short when we arrived -not a welcoming vibe. She spoke to us more like employees than customers. There are also no seats for people waiting for atable, except for at the bar. Once we were seated, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The prices werereasonable. Given the quality of the food and the service provided by our server, we will return. If I were the owner, I wouldwork on the greetings people get when they arrive and be sure that someone answers the phone. After all, this is a patron'sfirst impression.
My Family and I had dinner here for the first time. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. Staff is friendly. I had ordered the Greek salad and it was very good. It was a large salad. My Husband had ordered the Pork pot stickers and he reallyenjoyed it. My Brother had ordered the French onion soup. He said that it was very salty. Our Momma ordered the Cod fish. Sheenjoyed that. She also liked the fried Okra. Overall, all the food was very good. Prices are high
