Prima Baja Cocina - Santa Monica

Ughhh I really wish these tacos were better. It's a wonderful location, but the tortillas taste store-bought, the meat is horribly underseasoned, and the chips are stale. The guac and corn are good though, so I know they can do better!Food: 2/5

I was expecting a burrito bowl with fajita veggies, but I ended up getting what looks and tastes like warmed up frozen veggies over rice with a quarter of an avocado. Was excited to try this new spot on the beach but am pretty disappointed.

We walked into this restaurant on a whim. The restaurant is small. The fried Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious. The guacamole was very fresh, and they gave you a large portion. I would come back when in this area.

Food was horrible. We ordered fish, shrimp, and impossible meat. The tacos were full of old tiny hard pieces of meat. The larger edible pieces of meat were just big chunks grizzled. My husband didn 't even finish his meal. They offered chips and salsa, pretty standard. The food is not authentic and so bland. The place is small but they have additional seating outside. The service was prompt and orderly.

The Bartender here is on point serving up delicious drinks (provided he doesn’t run out of ingredients due to popularity). Lobster tacos had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.
