It's pretty good, I think it's overrated. The sandwich bread is too hard for my taste (although the large sandwiches are solid portions for $14). And the baklava was decent, not the best I've had. No online pickup and no credit cards is also a minus. View all feedback.
What Ally Knoph doesn't like about Bay Cities Italian Deli Bakery:

It stated marinara, cheese and peppers only (as it should be, minus peppers). I opted out of peppers for an authentic vibe. I was floored with the slop sandwiches I received. Hot, smelly wilted shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and mayo ridden sandwiches were what I was given! Who... View all feedback.
Even though the restaurant was very busy, I was still able to get my handmade sandwich quickly. The service was good and they had a great selection to choose from on the menu.
This sandwich is of east coast quality. I absolutely love the maple Turkey in it. If you don't have oil and vinegar with oregano on it, then what are you even doing with your life?
The large Godmother sandwich was delicious, although the bread was difficult to chew. Perhaps that is the intended style of the bread. The bread was fresh, and the deli cuts were excellent and delicious. The tiramisu was amazing! I will definitely be ordering from here again.
The food at this restaurant is always outstanding and offered at a very reasonable price! It's one of my top choices when dining out. The Eggplant Parmesan is absolutely delicious!
The Italian Godmother sandwich was fantastic. It was strange that nobody in the Italian Deli spoke Italian.
