We had a reservation and we’re still asked to wait while a minimum of 4 tables were seated ahead of us. It did not appear that all had reservations. The food was absolutely wonderful. We loved every dish. The whole sea bas, Dan Dan noodles(you can do without duck) the ravioli, Chinese broccoli, cauliflower…. We over ordered but there was not one dish we would not order again. What Cathrine Konopelski doesn't like about Cassia Rice Noodle Kitchen:
Another place where they encourage you in ordering and sharing the different dishes but: Firstly most of the dishes we wanted were sold out (that on top of the 2 that we were told were sold out); The table did not accommodate the quantity of dishes arriving so we had to rush our way trough piles of food; The wine was almost forgotten on the side so we had either to get it or ask someone to pour it; Rather noisy! I had a great dining experience at Cassia. The food was delicious with unique Thai Indonesian recipes and good portion sizes. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend giving Cassia a try. Rating: 8.4/10.
I first visited Cassia in early July and decided to revisit four weeks later to update my previous review. This time, my experience was fantastic. I had reserved terrace seats, which made a huge difference. I arrived at 9pm after a theater show and the atmosphere was still lively. We were seated promptly and our server quickly took our drink order. I ordered the fried Caesar salad and spicy wontons, while my friend had the Vietnamese Caesar salad. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Overall, it was a delightful experience. I would recommend making reservations for the terrace to ensure a great dining experience at Cassia.
I recently had dinner at Cassia and to be honest, it was disappointing. The food was bland without the sauce, and too spicy with it. The prices were also quite high - a small sea bass cost $47. Additionally, there was a 4% fee added to cover employee health costs on top of the already pricey bill. With a total of $150 for 3 dishes and 2 beers, the management should consider including health care in the prices. The atmosphere was noisy and the service was mediocre. Overall, I would not recommend dining here again.
First my friend and I were greeted by a warm smile of lisa on the steadfast who really set the ton for the whole night. our server, alex was very well informed about the menu and delivered excellent recommendations. we ordered the Cesar salad, the seven, the Kichererbsen curry for the appetizers; the lamb breast, the flattened half of the chicken for the main thing and the red bean ice for dessert. admittedly, we have probably overrated, but nevertheless was the eating amazing. also, honorable mention at abel, which was so conscious / attentive from everything that went to logistically at the table from beginning to end. also (number two,) the drinks were phenomenal handicraft cocktails highly recommended, our compliments to the bar tender. thanks cassia for a great evening!
