Burzillian Nation - Santa Cruz

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend and some relatives, and my family has been dining here a few times. We have tried almost everything on the menu, and the burgers are fantastic. They are really delicious and juicy. The buns are not like the usual ones you see at typical burger joints - they are soft and taste like good quality pandesal. We also enjoyed their pasta and rice dishes. Some of my recommendations include all their burgers, BN Pasta with white sauce, Shrimp Pasta, Burger Steak with rice, Bulalo slices with rice, and the fries that come with their burgers. In my opinion, there are a few areas that could be improved: I wish the Hellboy Jerome Burger had more of a kick to it, the service can be a bit slow at times (especially during busy dinner hours), and the ambiance of the dining area could be brighter as it felt a bit dark to us.

When I heard from a friend that a new restaurant with great burger is just nearby, I decided right then and there to immediately try it. Word of mouth is definitely the best advertisement and this new Pub-Diner deserves a review so other people can try it as well.It is along Sta.Rosa-Tagaytay road, but it might not be easily seen so make sure not to miss that it is just across Hyundai. The place is perfect as hangout for friends with a semi-Al fresco scene. We went there night time so it wasn't hot and humid, I just hope that it's great also during the day.We were excited to try their giant burger, but unfortunately Bacon wasn't available so most of the burgers aren't. We just had the regular ones, but it was still a great catch for its price. Must try for appetizers are their onion rings and potato fries, that comes with a good dip. We thought that we are unfortunate since a lot on the menu wasn't available, but the Spanish Sardines Pasta, Beef wraps, Buffalo wings and Saucy Short Ribs wasn't disappointing at all. I would definitely recommend this place, plus their beers are cheap as well. I will definitely comeback to try their signature burgers and bring other friends.

If you have a big appetite, the burgers at this restaurant are definitely for you. The portions are so large that even if you have a big belly, you may only be able to eat half at most. The ratio for sharing a burger is about 2 to 3 people per burger. As a meat lover, I found the taste to be yummy. The prices are good and the ambience is pleasant, however the location is not ideal.
