Family favorites, lauriat, beef/ wonton mami and chao fan my son had 2. One thing that really caught my attention though is the time my son went to their reception area and asked for an extra siopao sauce, he approached a waitress and a waiter as well, but it took almost 5 minutes for that "sauce". WOWWW! just wow! They just continued to mop the floor and my son was left standing by their side waiting for the siopao... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chowking:
The last time I ate at a branch of this fast food chain I had serious diarrhea which promted me to go to a hospital. This time the food was kinda cold in the middle. The acoustics of the place was so bad that I had to put on my earphones. The staff were making a lot of noise when they place the plates and utensils on their plastic trays. This place is It for me. Will still be back for sure though. But please, don't ever let that happen again to anyone.
Really like their chao fan! Plus the beef mami that my mom also loves. My kids alltime favorite here is their lauriat. Very easy to find as this place is just along sta rosa tagaytay road and they also have drive-thru.
Different from other fastfood. I like their soups, the Lomi and certainly the Wonton Mami, delicious, but even their "tokwa" soyameat is nicer than what you get on other places. Above all, Pseo is a very lively place were you can shop till you drop!
What irritates me in Chowking is the fact that regardless of the store you visit, Manager is always inside the kitchen or office most especially during peak hours. When its peak, staff are left to decide on their own. Worst, customers are then taken for granted. For my visit last May 1 - many products are not available to think that it is a holiday. Management failed to anticipate...tsk tsk tsk.Asked for a soup, arrived after 7mins. And staff seemed irritated when a customer calls them. While at the counter, I actually witnessed a complaint by a balikbayan customer because his orders were wrong. You know what the Cashier said? "Yan po ang tinuro nyo kanina!" And as usual, manager is nowhere to be found.(This is the same also in their Alabang El Molito Branch.)This is what you will usually experience in Chowking. If you have a choice, choose another resto.
We just stopped there because we wanted something quick on our way back from Tagaytay to Manila. It was nothing exciting. Their food was satisfactory. Nothing to really complain about. My husband who has never had Halo-halo before really enjoyed it there, although I found it average. Prices were reasonable.
