Ate here with a group of friends. Whilst food was cheap it was dismal. The owners took advantage of us being tourists and made us pay a hefty cover charge that was way higher than in the menu View all feedback.
We had a huge dinner the night before so set out determined to have a light lunch (late Jan 2023 . It was sunny and mild, we considered many patios, but most were a bit noisy or on slanting pavement or there was a TV blaring or... The two of us Goldilocks kept walking, stopped at last in front of Mediterraneo 's posted pizza menu (didn 't notice the more complete menu posted nearby and decided to try it. WELL walking in quickly realized that while they have an excellent pizza list, it is bigger, more upscale than we 'd expected, so I told the manager, We are really only wanting a simple lunch... He smiled and said, Of course! as though I 'd said Bring on the champagne! From our table choice to when we left this restaurant has the BEST service I 've experienced in weeks of travel. Every single person was attentive without being intrusive, and personable. But the food? Wow. We saw what others were having and clearly this restaurant does everything very, very well. In late January on a weekday clearly locals enjoying a favorite spot. We 'd already ordered or I would have considered several of the other dishes that we saw being enjoyed nearby! The restaurant has an elegant simplicity in a bright light room: the kind of place where food is the star. We were given a little appie (not sure but creamy and flavorful with little bits of ciabatta? as we read the menu. True to our word, ordered a half liter of the house red, a liter of frizzante, two mixed salads, a Diavola pizza (and then a little more of that excellent house red . The salads were beautifully presented and generous, everything crisp, fresh, flavorful and the olive oil and balsamic provided top notch. The Diavola pizza delicious. Thin crust, very good ingredients (I make my own pizza dough and care about ingredients: they clearly do as well . And, as said, the house red was very nice. The staff was lovely throughout. As we left, the manager gave us a warm smile and Buon viaggio! I have rarely been so impressed by service in any restaurant at any level in any place. Add to that a delicious meal? Bravo a tutti!
Very good seafood and pasta, the dessert is awesome too. The staff are very friendly and professional, they speak French and English. I had the most amazing lobster pasta. The fried seafood is also very good. The dessert was a nice surprise. The decors was very classy. Best restaurants in San Remo
The lunch we had was only surpassed by the attentive service. Pizza was perfection and the pasta was as well. Market day in Sanremo can be hectic, so finding this jewel of a restaurant was a prize.
On the menu we found a good dish with a good value for money, so we all took the only dish with swordfish alla livornese together with cous cous and boiled vegetables
It was easy to reserve this place on WhatsApp. We have waited to have our dishes little bit more than expected, but it was worth of it. Very good quality seafood, with a well mannered waiters.
