It’s hard to say why some places catch your eye but we’d spent a month exploring the Italian riviera by boat and got used to avoiding the ‘same old’ and often disappointing restaurants. We couldn’t get a table the evening we walked past but booked the next night and we weren’t disappointed. We had three courses including desert and each was delicious, made with lovely ingredients and exquisite without being fussy. The hosts were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all it was one of the nicest experiences and best meals of our trip without costing a fortune. Fully recommended!
