Tucked away in an unassuming strip mall, Pao offers a culinary experience marked by flavorful, well-prepared dishes such as grilled scallops, Cajun pasta, and creative starters like fig and goat cheese sliders. Was Travis Claver at Pao a mag?
Great food, great service. But dang, it's dark in there, can't see what I'm eating, hard to find the place too because the sign for this place isn't illuminated. And bring money, not cheap. View all feedback.

What Perpetual Hyperbole dislikes about Pao:
Girlfriend and I stumbled across Pao’s trying to find somewhere new for date night. Kinda hard to find, it’s nestled in a strip mall next to Sam’s club, not where you’d expect. Place was pretty dark, and a little on the noisy side, but it was pretty busy so that’s not really their fault. Food was pricey but good, and it took a while to get, but again, busy place. Waitress was apologetic and polite. My girlfriend had... View all feedback.

We haven't eaten at Pao in more than 5 years. My wife had a mixed green salad with goat cheese, and a vegetarian pasta dish. She was pleased with both, especially the salad which was fresh and crisp. I started with the fig, onion, and goat cheese sliders. I thought the three sliders would be just that, but they had tiny burgers as well. They were terrific. My main course was grilled divers scallops with creamed leeks and roasted asparagus. It was also terrific, as was the creme brulee for dessert. Chelsey, our server, was attentive and knew the menu; she recommended the scallops rather than the Chilean sea bass special. In sum, we had an excellent dinner. The room was loud which made our conversation difficult at times. My biggest gripe call me an out of date curmudgeon or a snob was a man who kept his Cincinnati baseball hat on while dining. Many people don't dress appropriately scruffy jeans and t shirts seem the norm and such dress really sets me off. But we'll return to Pao for another excellent meal.

Absolutely fantastic food! We had the deviled eggs to start. Husband had the steak with twin Lobster tails and I had the Cajun pasta with seared shrimp. We ended the night with the Cheesecake. It can be expensive, however it was worth it! Our waiter was great as well. We will definitely be going back soon!

We enjoyed our New Years Eve at PAO.Just a bit disappointed with very little seasoning on Lobster. Was very sweet though. Would like to see butter wells.
