My wife and I saw Sweet Hut on our way back from dinner whilst on holiday in Hobart. We decided to drop in and have a look, and weren't disappointed. The desserts are predominantly Asian influenced, but there is something for everyone, including locally produced ice cream for the less adventurous. We selected mango sago puddings, which at $3.80 each were very reasonably priced. The man behind the counter was very fri... View all feedback.
What Benton Boehm doesn't like about Sweet Hut Dessert House:
A charming dessert cafe with Asian-ese sweet treats that made for an excellent stop on the less savoury final destination of Wrest Point Casino. After a walk around town we made our way through Sandy Bay and were thrilled to find a place that was still open, and also one that would provide us the mandatory dessert finish to our appetites. A charming dessert café with asian sweet tasty tasties made for an excellent last at the unfavorable end destination of wrest point casino. After a walk around the city we went through sandy bay and were thrilled to find a place that was still open, and also one that would offer us the obligatory dessert finish to our appetites. the personal and the design of the place has such an adoration, and we even need to posing for an instax snap, for ever pulverized on the wall to remind the humanity of our participation.
The curry footballs were great! hong kong eiletten were not worth mentioning. this assessment is only due to fish balls. but has caught a lot of milkshakes.
We had this fromny special and we have torn it down in 2 minutes. very good! taste the nuts and nuts. the place does what he advertises well, very Asian.
Cheap, fast and large dessert. gives the expensive restaurants a run for their money when it comes to crepes. I would like to mention that people work there. they are fantastic. I've been there three times and every time they welcome me and make sure someone is there to say goodbye. great service.
Yummy Fun. When a friend suggested we went here for desert, my husband said oh no, not asian deserts, it will be red bean paste mush Well, we were so happy that we went. Great atmosphere, lovely staff and yummy food. It was great for me as I am gluten free and there were heaps of GF options. We loved the mango sago pudding 3.80), the hong kong waffles and the ginger milk custard best. I can't wait to take the kids now.
