Description

Tucked in a Cape Cod food truck, this indie donut stop serves fresh, made-to-order fry cake and cake-style donuts—warm, flavorful and reasonably priced. The blueberry variety is a standout, with moist fruit and just-right glaze. Friendly, quick service, nut-free choices and picnic-table outdoor seating make it a perfect morning detour; occasional inconsistencies have been noted, but most visitors call it a must-try for donut lovers.

The donuts here are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are quite reasonable as well. If you manage to get them warm, they're absolutely amazing!

Prepared fresh to order, quick service, and nut-free options made this the perfect stop during our vacation. We’ll definitely be back and it’s now on our must-visit list for Cape Cod.

I nearly overlooked Cape Cod Donuts since it's tucked away in a food truck parked beside a pizza and ice cream shop. I'm so glad we discovered it! The blueberry cake donuts were absolutely divine! As a fan of cake donuts, I found these to be perfection. They were made with fresh blueberries, had the ideal amount of glaze, and were moist and incredibly addictive. It's definitely worth taking a detour for! Just be sure to check the current hours—when I visited, they were only open in the morning.

FINALLY got to Cape Cod Donuts! If you love a good, old fashioned, fry cake doughnut; get there...NOW. The Cape Cod Donuts are SO worth the drive (no matter how far that might be). The owner, and the young man working the counter, were really nice, took the time to speak with me, and packaged an assortment; as asked. Seriously...why would anyone EVER go to a chain shop??? Anyway...I truly didn 't think the donuts would make it home, what with the wafting aromas, and such, but I held off; just 'til I got home; then all bets were off.Had enough time to get a couple on a plate then started in. Fortunately, it was just me and my 2 little dogs to hear the grunts of delight that came out of my mouth with each bite; after all, some people are still under the impression that I 'm somewhat civilized. Thanks, Donut guys!!!
