What User doesn't like about Si Christina Gateau Sans Rival:
Wandered in from the drizzle yesterday while on a brief visit to San Pablo... I am glad I did . The pistachio sans rival tasted immaculately, a perfect memory to my first out of town this year. Service was very friendly and thoughtful too, and practicing safety measures against COVID. View all feedback.
Great food and cheap. you can tell talaga nagluluto dito. an inappropriate service! the personal is friendly and polite, which is best for me.
Place is very well organized and clean! The staff is friendly and accessible. The food is exquisite and directly hit at the sweet spot of the taste bud. 5/5 total!! Very recommended. Even if there is no parking, there is a short walk to the church where you can park your car safely with 20 Pesos fee.
Love the ambience, the food and the 5 service. You always make sure that our stay is most enjoyable without affecting the taste and presentation of our food while ensuring that all photos are IG capable!
Birthday surprise! My Bf celebrated his birthday, but he lost his wallet on his way to Laguna. When we had lunch for Saturday.13, we saw that they gave birthday cupcake surprise to a colleague who also celebrates his birthday. We have not made reservations, but we have mentioned on the server that we have a birthday sticker and would also appreciate the cute gesture. To our surprise, the staff brought up a cupcake and sang happy birthday for him. The staff in this Resto is the real jewel of the place. They also visit their guest's emergency room. Your glass of water will never be empty because they immediately refill it when they see it is half empty. We had onion mozarella medallion, pasta pesto and a red, the bestseller in the menu), chili baby back ribs, potatoes and corn with mushroom. I would say we could skip the onion medallion they have spinach cream sauce inside, not so much my way, but would be good if you like it. The ribs could use a little more sauce because it was dry when served. but it was falling from bone and tender. The red pasta with fresh tomatoes was delicious!! The tomatoes were fresh as Laguna is on the top 10 tomato producers in the country. The Pesto Pasta is also so good, they did not jump to the sauce. I have not even noticed that there is little Parm cheese on him until now that I review it.. That's how good it was. For dessert we had their Sans Rival Pistachio and the seasonal ube sponge cake leche flan up, ube fill in the middle, and ube sponge cake down). To say that it was good not enough. I would go back for the sponge cake and try it with hot coffee! Hopefully they have it when we go back. The ambience of the place was cool and secret. They have a second floor that could be accessible outside to accommodate more guests. The location is easy to see how it is near the San Pablo Church, and you could drive a tricycle for a few minutes to get to the Sampaloc Lake. Maybe one day if I want to bless after the sponge cake and leave Manila for a bit, I will take the bus to San Pablo Laguna and visit this restaurant again.
Great service, great selection of dishes. Chili white cheese burgers is a must try!
