What User doesn't like about Ted's Kitchen Laguna:
When visiting Sta. Cruz, Laguna, one of the easiest-to-spot restaurants is Ted’s. It looks homey and welcoming, attracting guests and visitors. The interior would remind you of your granny’s place. They also have a shaded al fresco setup which is equally inviting. However, in my opinion, the flavors don’t justify how the restaurant looks. Everything tasted plain and a bit bland. Whenever we return home for vacation, this is one of the places we always make a point to visit. I've always loved their pasta and pizza; it used to be my favorite restaurant in Laguna. However, during our most recent visit, it didn’t feel the same as it once did. The taste was decent, but not as enjoyable as I remembered. Even the pizza seemed to have a different crust—while it was definitely fresh and baked well, something felt off about it. It was a bit too chewy for my liking, but I wouldn't say it was terrible; it just fell short of my expectations, especially since I've enjoyed it countless times before. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent, particularly the milkshake that my child loved; the chocolate spoon surprise was a big hit with her! Overall, the food was okay, but not as great as I remembered. The ambiance of the place was nice, but it felt a bit gloomy. Prices are definitely on the higher side, a bit above average.
When visiting Sta. Cruz, Laguna, one of the most noticeable restaurants is Ted's. Its homey and inviting atmosphere draws in guests and visitors alike. The interior has a nostalgic feel reminiscent of a grandmother's home. They also offer a shaded al fresco dining area that is just as welcoming. However, in my opinion, the flavors do not live up to the restaurant's charming appearance. The dishes tasted rather plain and somewhat bland. I can appreciate the effort put into making the food visually appealing, but there is certainly room for improvement. They also have a selection of cakes and cookies that make for great souvenirs.
One of the finest restaurants in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. It’s the perfect choice for breakfast if you’re looking for a delicious meal. The serving sizes are generous enough for two average diners, so even though the prices may be on the higher side, it’s definitely worth it!
The food is excellent, and the ambiance is pleasant. **Service:** Takeout **Meal Type:** Brunch **Price per Person:** ₱200–₱400 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 5/5 **Recommended Dishes:** Cakes, Baby Back Ribs
The food was decent, but we left feeling a bit disheartened. When we arrived, we were the only patrons in the restaurant, and the staff instructed us to place our order at the counter. While we were deciding what to order, another group of four entered. We noticed that the staff brought them menus and took their order at the table, which made us feel somewhat uncomfortable. Service: Dine-in.
