What Peter NEWMAN dislikes about Kubo Sa Halamanan:
They have their own parking off the main road and opposite to one of their entrances. The setting is quite nice but set amongst garden plants etc and there were a number of flies and mosquitos around. The food was disappointing in flavour we had a mixture of Filipino dishes and my wife and friend was also disappointed. Went during lunch time on a Sunday. Place is somehow packed. We ordered Set Meal A consists of approximately one liempo, sliced, whole fried chicken (recommended) one rice platter, one chopseuy, then additional of crispy sisig. Food is okay overall would recommend the fried chicken out of everything. Included cucumber lemonade as drink. Paid 1460 for 5 pax. Overall food is good for its price. Sulit na rin. Service is good. Tho the kubos may use maybe a ceiling fan just for additional ventilation especially during lunch peak hours.
