U Magazzeo - SAN MARCO DEI CAVOTI

I love to experiment new places, also after finding my best ones I still prefer to try a new one. But in San Marco dei Cavoti I stop following this rule and I just go to 'U Magazzeo. This week I 'm going there 4 times in a row! I think this a top notch Naples style pizza, after which you can be treated by surprising and honest food. I alos love the atmosphere. It 's true: Alessio, the owner and pizza maker is a kind of person, but if you accept a certain amount of unpredictability in your life you gonna love it. Don 't complain, just enjoy your night. Alessio created something really peculiar. I had great food experience in my life, but I 've never had something like 'U Magazzeo.

This is a wonderfully hip restaurant in seemingly outside of San Marco, with a limited menu based on the current passion of the cook. The service is good, and the food is quite excellent. A little different than usual.

Do not miss this small restaurant with an eclectic menu. Away from the beaten path, but worth the trip - the cook carefully selects every ingredient from the surrounding landscape to offer great turns on Italian classics as well as delicious and new creations. Ask to put on their carefully selected mailing list for exclusive tasting and events. A must.

This place is a standard Italian pizzeria, the owner/cook is definitely artistic or artist and in its approach. Everything happens in the house with fresh vegetables grown in its garden or in the city. Various flavor combinations make it very special. The interior is somehow eclectic and yet cozy. Food is good, service is good, price is good. You should give it up!

I think Excellent is not a really satisfying word to describe the quality of food, wine and service we found in U Magazzeo. I wish I had more room in my stomach to fill it with all these delicacies! And my God, the wine! I wish I didn't have to drive! Thanks Alessio for the wonderful hospitality and suggestions.
