Contribute Feedback What Catherine C likes about Dave's Hot Chicken:
The food was delicious. I tried a Single Slider, Single Tender, Cheese Fries and Mac Cheese. The breading on the chicken was crispy without being oily. I chose hot and it was! The Mac Mac Cheese was really creamy. They use the same cheese sauce on the Cheese Fries. They were good but not the best. The fries need to be crispier so they dont get soggy so fast. It was ok. The reaper was not very spicy neither was the extra hot. We?ve tried the location in Indio CA as well as one in LA. Both locations were awesome! Just seemed very light on the heat. They even make sure you sign the reaper waiver. For us no waver should have been required. Overall the restaurant was nice inside and out. We?ll try again in a few. Give them time get the spice down. Went today for lunch. It is busy but well staffed. And the staff is very nice. I ordered the sliders. Got them ?hot.? I did a little pre-research and thought I would like hot but not the ?reaper? version. Hot is HOT!! I really enjoyed it but might try Medium next time. The food is delicious. It might seem expensive, but the reality is two people could share one of the meals ? especially the slider meal. I ordered my fries ?well done? and highly recommend that. So good. Idid not finish everything, and was very full, which is why I say two can share. Enjoy!
I was very excited to try this new place out. I absolutely love chicken sandwiches. Well I was very disappointed. Portions are good. Fries are ok. I got the #3 slider with chicken tender on the side and extra hot for spice level. For someone that loves spicy food this wasn?t very spicy. It was extremely salty, way over seasoned. All I could taste was seasoning. Like a salt lick. I couldn?t eat much of it. My wife got hers with no spice and that was a bit better but noflavor. We also got a side of mac n cheese. Neither of us liked it. Tasted weird and was really runny. I had high hopes for this place but oh well.
Awesome food. The flavors are exceptional. Very friendly staff. I've had the extra hot and hot. Both have an awesome flavor while packing a good amount of heat. I've heard great things about the less spicy options. This is a very unique hot chicken that's very different, and in my opinion, superior to the more traditional hot chickens.

Chicken is flavorful, Plump, Juicy, and Fried perfectly. Breading stays on for every bite. Give it a try. Won't disappoint
