I didn't care much for the chicken in my food: It was bland. That said, the Pho broth was phenomenal! My son (and the rest of us) loved his fries, my wife really enjoyed her sourgrass pork back ribs. Either the manager or owner was there and gave us super positive vibes. I really want to go back, and I hope to inspire others to go try this restaurant. What Anchored doesn't like about Bites:
Five of us ate here for dinner. Our family eats a lot of pho and other Vietnamese dishes so we were excited when we saw the menu online. Three of us ordered pho and were VERY disappointed. The broth was not good at all. We are used to leaving an empty pho bowl but none of us could choke down the broth, even after doctoring it up with add ins and siracha. Solid Banh Mi for authenticity and price! The side of garlic noodles was a little over priced.
Best PHO Soup in all of SLO we always order extra broth and extra meat brisket. It is so flavorful and delicious ! Always fresh and made to order!
The restaurant offers counter service, convenient free parking, and a casual dining atmosphere. The food is fresh and of higher quality than typical fast food establishments, but it is simple and cannot be compared to the authentic Vietnamese cafes.
This restaurant experience was absolutely terrible. I ordered food during my lunch break and the owner was incredibly rude, accusing me of being picky about my food when all I wanted was something edible. They promised to give me a replacement but purposely made it wrong and then yelled at me, saying it's only $8.00, before hanging up. I used to visit this establishment 3+ times a week, but I will not tolerate being treated so disrespectfully.
The food is delicious. The service is friendly, with a warm welcome and quick delivery. This restaurant is perfect for large groups!
