There are several coffee shops in town but I want to give Black Horse a shout out. First, they have great coffee and offer a light roast which gives the coffee great flavor.They also have great breakfast burritos. I got the vegetarian one which includes scrambled eggs, and it was wonderful and filling. Most other shops only offer pastries.Great coffee and breakfast! View all feedback.

I'd say it's a decent enough place. The coffee is decent, but it's like any other overpriced coffee shop everything is far more expensive than what it is actually worth. I would say I think this black horse is doing way better than the other one in SLO that I've been to. View all feedback.
Wonderful coffee. Beautiful and spacious patio. To the owner- you’d be packed all the time if you stepped up the pastries. I’d love to see that.

The staff was friendly, and patient. The chocolate croissant was delicious, and the latte was warm and strong. While I was visiting the music selection was tasteful and at a comfortable level. No complaints at all.
A really homey Cafe with a cozy atmosphere. Love the dirty chai with lavender!
