The food at this restaurant was exceptional, featuring unique ingredient pairings. We tried the tapas selection and did not explore the entrees. Our only critique was about our server, who could benefit from more training in customer service. While not unfriendly, she struggled to make eye contact and had a very indifferent attitude. It's worth mentioning that she seemed to be an exception among the rest of the serve... View all feedback.

Best Peruvian restaurant in SLO county. Service is often a bit slow/disorganized, especially when you sit down it can sometimes take 10-20 mins to get to order. Food is nice and colorful! Ceviche is great, same with the crab tower thing, and the empanadas, and the pulpo, and lomo saltado. Cool design and ambiance, they also have good desserts and a chocolatier. View all feedback.
We had an incredible experience! It exceeded all our hopes and expectations. We are eagerly looking forward to returning.
We have been to Mistura multiple times and it has yet to disappoint. I went with the Tacu Tacu on the waiter's recommendation of how hungry I was. While I prefer more vegetables (which were as excellent as expected) this is a nit at all restaurants for me. The seared ahi was perfect; the spice hit beautifully balanced between heat and flavor, hitting right in the middle of the mouth. Service, as always was on point, attentive yet unobtrusive. Highly recommended.
We loved the food , the service and the ambiance. I am Peruvian traveling with my American husband and another American couple. We Did some appetizers tasting and then each of us orden a main dish. I was very pleased to see everyone enjoyed the food and made a note to return to the restaurant when we are in town again. As Peruvian I fully recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and well prepared and beautifully served.
Excellent and varied menu with many options. Peruvian South American theme. Large portions. Yery good.
Mistura has become one of our favorite dinner destinations in Downtown SLO! It is one of those rare restaurants that somehow manages to create meals that are visually stunning to look at, delicious to eat, and most importantly nutritious. This is not an easy trick to pull off here on the Central Coast, where sandwiches/pizza/tacos reign supreme! This particular meal was extra special because Mistura helped us celebrate my birthday with a complimentary Arroz Chaufa. We paid an up charge to add perfectly grilled, Peruvian spiced shrimp, which is definitely the best way to enjoy that particular staple dish. We paired it with the Nikkei sushi roll that we've been wanting to sample, made with Peruvian Paiche white fish and plantains. Also yum! We paired all of this with a perfectly crafted Pisco Sour (see image)! Finally, we always save room for dessert because Mistura's in-house pastry chef is second to none. This time we savored a mouse crafted to look like a rose!
