Had her sweet and sour fish fillet (295). It's one of the best sweet and sour fish fillets I've ever eaten. The sauce isn't too sweet. It's good for 2 people to share. View all feedback.
What Aidan Pollich doesn't like about Wee Nam Kee:
Not again. I was not happy after the meal. Had tried classic noodles of the same name in SG, but here, I did not finished the small bowl and even spitted out the fish ball as it tasted plasticky and airy. Just can't stand food with obviously loaded with msg to improve d taste. View all feedback.
I go to Wee Nam Kee for their specialty of hainanese chicken and rice. The rest of their meals are rather secondary compared to this. Ordered two personal meals (199php each), consisting of a plate of your choice of either steamed (my favorite, it's more soft), roasted or combined hainanese chicken with cucumbers, yummy refillable soup, and a cup of hainanese rice. The other order was Hong Kong Fried noodles (330php) which was just okay. They also have hoisin, ginger and chili sauce on the side of the table for extra flavor. What i do is i mix the ginger with hoisin sauce; ginger is supposed to be healthy for you :) The other choices of food are a bit pricey as you can expect by the beautiful interior design. The quantity of the food isn't as much for the price you pay, quality is alright but they're too oily for me. House tea comes for free though and service was just ok. Rest room isn't available inside, but you can use the one in the mall. Tip: get free chicken rice balls when you post a photo of your wee nam kee experience on fb/instagram and show it to the server.

Unplanned dining sometimes work best. We were in Greenhills one minute, then in Singapore the next. We ordered the family platter, sambal squid, honey garlic spare ribs and the kai lan. Surprisingly good, service was quick although wished the family platter came in different sizes. The set was only good for 3-4 persons on a 1-cup-of-rice diet. Overall it was a good dining experience. Worth a try.
