Kenny Rogers Roasters

First time to eat in this branch because it was always packed. As a purist I ordered the classic chicken while my companion ordered the no fry chicken ,I still like their chicken even given the breast part,it still nicely cooked ,also the un fried chicken tasted nice.I love the mixed veggies here ,the broccoli and carrots were well cooked and not mushy unlike in other branches.Nice TeX Mex macaroni taste not that strong cumin flavor which I really like. The place was well managed,fast and friendly service eventho many people eat in this branch they still maintained it to be organized.

I have been to one of Kenny Rogers other branches is Robinson's Magnolia Mall and I wasn't impressed . However I wanted to give it another go so I tried this branch in Green Hills and I was very pleasantly surprised. Firstly the actual interior and ambiance was incredibly pleasant . The aircon was just right, The music was nice and not too loud. It was spotlessly clean and the chairs were so nice and comfortable to sit on. The staff were so friendly and professional, Also there were two mature age managers around the place making sure everything was running smoothly. It is very obvious the place is well managed. The shop was quite full and all of the customers looked happy with their meal and comfortable to be there. I availed their wings deal today and the idea is to pay as you order then find a seat. The line moved fast and the money and change was handled quickly. The food was exactly as promised. Honestly it was not entirely to my taste but that is not the fault of the restaurant. What I can say is the food was cooked to perfection, I often wonder how these extra busy fast food places can cook a good chicken yet the small boutique chicken places who are not busy and have all the time in the World stuff it up. Why is that?...Anyway Kenny rogers did a great job. I don't feel the food is great value for money but they do deliver exactly what they promise. Can I recommend this branch of Kenny Rogers?...Yes I can.

Great serving size and speed of service. Delicious food and supposedly healthy too. Muffins are a classic. Very much underwhelmed by the new fried but not fried chicken. Tastes like left over chicken.

After the usual gym workout, the clamor for protein is in its higher form, so I thought of Kenny Rogers for their meats. I was eyeing on their best selling chicken but the steak last time was good, so I went for it again. Their steak was a disappointing this time around. Fat content was more, not so quality meat and lacked seasoning. The gravy was watery. I am thankful though that they placed my vegetables with no butter. Maybe I should forget about their steak and go back to the chicken that made them famous. alwayshungry.ph
