I love this Russian Hill mainstay! As my title says, best pizza, period! It's popular with both locals and tourists as the Hyde Street cable car line runs right in front of it. If you are around when peaches are in season, try the peach pie. It is divine! View all feedback.

Perfect neighborhood spot for a hot slice of classic American pizza. We often try the special of the day, but classic pepperoni is always a safe bet. Homey feel and decor is so charming.
Excellent giant slices. I think there’s some cornmeal in the crust. A “small” salad is huge: share it. Great atmosphere. One downside: they don’t server Fat Tire or Boont Amber anymore.
Lovely store front with neon light scrawl of their name giving it a 70s look; the location on the tree lined Hyde Street gives it class; Always sit outside to take in the scene. Za comes closest to the classic NY slice. Love the texture of crust just the right thickness with a grainy feel on its underside; right amount with cheese and a tangy tomato sauce. Slices are generous in size and served hot and crispy. Love the German lager.
Simply the best (and biggest) slice we have ever had! Good craft beer too! Proprietor very cool and came out to chat us up as we ate at our table outside. We will grab a slice every time we are in the City!
