they usually have a delicious vegan flatbread that they have heated or to go. many vegan brot options also. I think the salad sandwich is also vegan and very full and delicious! View all feedback.
What letsgetfree doesn't like about Jane The Bakery:
There are a limited number of vegan options labeled on the menu, but the desserts are both vegan and gluten free, which I believe impacts the taste. My apologies to those following a gluten-free diet! Additionally, when I inquired about the cauliflower sandwich being vegan, I was told it was, but later learned that it contained eggs. So, the lesson here is to stick to items that are clearly marked as vegan. View all feedback.
This bakery is located at the intersection of Geary and Steiner in the small strip mall. I also noticed that there were several parking spaces. But I don't remember seeing any places for bicycle parking. The bakery is surprisingly huge. There was a wide range of baked goods. When I was here, there was no big line, just one person in front of me. The quality of baked goods was excellent.
Fantastic 3 dozen selections of delicious treats for office staff. From Cheddar Biscuits to Blueberry Scones to Hot Cross Buns to Croissants and half a dozen other delicious items. Always a big hit! Thank you.
I don't know who Jane is since the owner's name is Amanda Michael. She built a bit of a back empire with Jane on Fillmore and Jane on Larkin in 2013. This industrial situation opened later, but the truth is said, I did not notice that it was there because it is on a stretch of Geary, I not much common. But I took a conscious detour from J Town to see what they could have an hour before graduation. It turned out that they had left some delicacies behind the glass. Mango mojito scones. Olive pistachios. Banana bread. I went to the chocolate choices, and interestingly, both articles I got were jet black. The first was the $5.50 slice of Chocolate Bundt Cake (Photo: bit.ly/3yPR7Qw). It was a pretty good dish for a PTA lunch. The other was the $4.25 Double Chocolate Oreo cookie where the cream filling was completely hidden inside (Photo: bit.ly/3z7S7Qh). It was probably one of the most beautiful Oreos I've ever had. There was no place to sit in the bakery itself, so I took my treats in the Color Fountain Park near where there were many open benches. All right! One of my favorites in SF. The cookies and scene are underestimated. ? Super popular place in the area. Be ready to wait a bit, there is always a line.
Early-ish morningsNo lines, quick service The slowdown is due to the overwhelming selection of goods that greet you which leave you frozen in indecision. The savory pastry selection here was the most impressive we have seen anywhere. Most pastries are priced at $5.50 each.Best items we got were: mushroom and gruyere scone, brunch croissant, mushroom tartStaff were friendly, drip coffee was decent. Really impressive bread selection as well, didn't have enough stomach space so will have to return to try many more items!
