What JC C doesn't like about Maru Sushi:
The food was alright. I tried the Powel roll but it was a bit dry. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. Despite being the only customer, I felt neglected. View all feedback. What User likes about Maru Sushi:
We stayed at Beacon Grand hotel. On the checked out date, we were looking for a quick brunch nearby before heading to the airport and we found Maru. The dishes are very delicious!! The combination set are great!! View all feedback.

read moreLocated conveniently near the bustling streets of downtown San Francisco, Maru Sushi offers a varied dining experience that may satisfy the casual sushi seeker but often misses the mark for discerning palates. While the vegan options, like agedashi tofu and specialty rolls, have garnered praise for their innovative flavors and sauces, the traditional offerings like gyoza and combos can be hit or miss. Service can be inconsistent, with some guests enjoying prompt attention while others experience delays. Overall, patrons find Maru Sushi a reliable spot to indulge their cravings, balancing its cozy atmosphere with average food quality.

Mediocre sushi. Presentation was lacking and plate looked sparse. Won’t go back.
Yup. 4.0 stars average about covers it. Food was fine. Service and atmosphere very nice.
