Light Easter Sunday service. The employee was super rude and unorganized. Came here to buy several pints and single to go parts. As a rule (and it also says on board) you can skip the line and pay. The guy had me back to wait. I had already got pints from her fridge, but since he left me back... I have a pinch of her Berry Kougin Amann. The Pints I got were Matchadoddle and their Malted Chocolate and Vietnamese Chocolate. Wanted to taste her cornflake crunch and Honey Graham, but he said because of the line I just have to choose a sample. First, you waited me in the snake when I wanted to get the Fo-Pinten in the fridge. Since I'm in the line, I bought a purse and you just allow a sample? My hand brushed pint wasn't even so full, and he didn't even close the lid so he was in the bag he gave me. Customer service is so important, especially for so many ice places they need to improve their game. This is the second 3-star experience that borders on 2.5 in the last month.

Humphry Slocombe is a cool name. The name actually comes from a 1970 's British sitcom called "Are You Being Served? "I last went here years ago and had not returned since because last time was here they didn 't have any vegan ice cream and only had one sorbet that was vegan that was fine yet not great.Fast forward years later to the moment of now. I recently stoped by again and they had two vegan ice cream flavors including vegan cookies and cream and vegan strawberry daiquiri. I am a big fan of cookies and cream and am a teetotaler so the vegan strawberry daiquiri unfortunately has alcohol.My beloved and I stopped by recently. We each got a vegan cookies and cream ice cream cone. It really hit the spot. The base was coconut milk and classic Oreo cookies which are accidentally vegan were in there rounding it out to make it a delicious ice cream.The sugar cone is vegan and unfortunately the waffle cones are not vegan so we went with the former.I suggest Humphry Slocombe keep the vegan cookies and cream on rotation adding another two or three vegan flavors for good merit.The whole thing of a vegan going to a vegan or vegetarian restaurant having too much choice so making it hard to decide what to order. Well at Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream it is opposite for vegans as you only have two choices of two different vegan ice creams and for vegan teetotalers who got the straight edge you have one flavor.The vegan ice cream we had is great will set you back $5 for a generous cone or cup. Great location right near 24th St Mission BART station.
