I visited a place on Haight Street near the park for a drink and had a great experience. The staff was friendly without being overly familiar, which I appreciated. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I particularly enjoyed the diverse mix of people there; it really felt like everyone was welcome and comfortable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hobson's Choice:
We strolled through Haight and ended up at Hobson's. The bartender was quite friendly and served us promptly. I ordered a rum punch and found it to be really tasty. My wife opted for a vodka soda, and she was happy with her drink as well. The clientele was pleasant, too. If I lived closer, I would definitely make this place a regular stop. View all feedback.
This is a nice bar with lots of regulars. Prices are reasonable. I did not notice any food though
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. Top flight rum booze bowls made daily from scratch. Been around for a long time. The bartender was super friendly and made us great drinks. I love the music there and the old school chalk board if rum offerings is always fun to read. Check it out maties
We were wandering the Haight and fell into Hobson’s. The bartender was friendly enough. He too our orders and returned quickly. I tried a rum punch and found it to be quite tasty. My wife had a vodka with soda. She was satisfied with her drink. The clientele was friendly. If I lived in the area this would become a regular stop.
Big Haight St Bar. Friendly locals. Bring food from everywhere nearby. Lots of sports on 4 screens. Beautiful view of the street action from the front windows. Very recommended.
