Came for a simple, long lunch on Tuesday. I looked pretty casual, not too crowded. Typical bar menu. No dessert menu. Have some specialties that are good. Also have the possibility to eat/trink open to walkway. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Harrington's Grill Sf:
Old school bar and eatery lacks panache and suffers from a tired menu. While palatable in past, last visit yielded a greasy fish and chips with side of undercooked veggies. Friendly staff and neighborhood vibe. View all feedback.
Here for a few drinks after a conference nearby. Classical decor, this place has a beautiful, slightly dipping mood compared to neighboring spots that was exactly what we were looking for. Nice place to move in for a pint.
Drinks were good and the service was great. The Happy Hour Specials weren't so great. The nachos were Bland and the cheese sticks were very strange. This place is always less crowded than the other bars nearby.
The man himself Michael Harrington is a gentleman. His staff are not just his staff they are treated like family and are family to him. The staff are friendly, respectful, considerate, down to earth, don't gossip and (ok wink wink i'll take that back) they know what it is like be a customer themselves therefor you'll never feel out of place or alone in Harringtons. Consistently good food, good **** mary and great waitress. Plus, a SF landmark.
This place is awesome! Great drinks and atmosphere!
